What to do when you’re on the struggle bus

I don’t think there’s anything worse than going online when you’re having a bad day and reading post after post written by people who you suspect don’t even fart, never mind have days when they have difficulty motivating themselves.

As you know if you’ve read more than a handful of my articles, I’m all about honesty. I probably overshare at times, but I make no apologies for that, I think there’s room for people like Tony Robbins as well as for slightly brash, heavily tattooed, heavy metal-loving Mancunian women like me.

So, here goes.

The last couple of days, I have absolutely been on the struggle bus.

Just in case that’s not a term you’ve heard of before, here’s the Dictionary.com definition:

struggle bus

noun, Slang.

a situation, task, etc., that seems difficult or frustrating:

With no sleep last night, I’ll be on the struggle bus today.

Why have I been feeling like that? There’s not an obvious reason I can think of, to tell the truth. It could be because I’m still feeling the aftereffects of having had Covid last week, or it could be hormonal, possibly.
